Holly Creek Breaks Ground!

Holly Creek, a client of Seniority, Inc., achieved another milestone as the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for the community’s Phase II construction was held on Jan. 23. Approximately 300 guests, including Seniority President Sloan Bentley, attended the ceremony on a bright and sunny, day.

The ceremony began with an opening prayer by Jim Kok, Christian Living Communities’ (CLC) director of chaplaincy services; followed by a welcome speech by CLC Chief Executive Officer Russ Den Braber. Holly Creek, a continuing care retirement community, is CLC’s newest property.

Randy Pye, mayor of Centennial, a suburb of Denver, remarked that Holly Creek is the largest senior living community in the city, and that it is supported by the city’s strong commitment to its seniors. He further added that such state-of-the-art communities like Holly Creek foster independence, friendships and personal growth, which are essential to the human spirit and to the spirit of the community.

Camille Thompson, executive director of Holly Creek, shared with guests that Phase II of construction includes 18 luxury apartment homes, each featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den. Additionally, 66 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes will be added to the 114 that already exist.

Designers plan to expand the Town Center in many ways. Residents will enjoy an additional restaurant (The Grille), a 35-seat movie theatre, an arts and crafts room, a country store, a formal fellowship room, physician office space, additional fitness room, and physical and occupational therapy services. Garden areas, a putting green and an outdoor gaming area will also compliment the community.

Thompson further added that to serve residents with healthcare needs, the assisted living, skilled nursing areas, and memory support areas will be expanded to preserve independence.

An official groundbreaking was held to complete the ceremony followed by a reception in Holly Creek’s Town Center.

Holly Creek and Seniority have worked together since 2002. Seniority was hired to set up and manage the community’s sales and marketing program. Since then, Seniority, has also taken on a management consulting role.

“The team at Holly Creek has worked hard to make this Phase II project a reality, and we are proud of how far they’ve come. Holly Creek is an exciting community, and we look forward to being part of its continued growth,” Bentley said.
